A Typical Student
The typical student is one that enjoys creative activities and hands-on learning. Successful students have excellent high school attendance. Most students qualify for Vincennes University dual credits by passing the college placement tests. Successful students have the patience and attention to detail to solve problems using the skills they have learned. They can work independently or with other students. They understand time management as it relates to salon operations and accruing the hours needed for licensure. Successful students are able to stay on task without constant supervision.
Get Yourself Ready
To be prepared, be on track for graduation and have room in your course schedule to attend the Cosmetology program for two years. Also be prepared to attend the required summer sessions.
